How many children are physically challenged that would benefit from this playground?

There are approximately 1,700 physically challenged children in Morgan County.

When is the playground scheduled to be completed?

2009.

What civic organizations are involved?

Hartselle Civitan Club, Hartselle Kiwanis Club, The Lions Club and Hartselle Rotary Club united for this project in late 2006.

What is a “boundless” playground?

The playground is safe and 100% accessible by all special needs children, which creates an environment that precludes feelings of isolation. Many people don’t realize the physical restrictions of special needs individuals and how that even specific types of materials used on playground equipment found in a normal playground environment creates boundaries in which special needs sometimes cannot cross.

How can I help?

By individual contributions or by a corporate partnership, you can make a difference in the lives of these very special people. There are various levels of “Boundless Rewards” sponsorships available and no donation is too small. Visit our Donate Page to find out more details.
